Journey Into the Brain Support

If you receive a "Director Player 6 requires 3MB of virtual memory" error while installing Journey into the Brain on Win XP, follow these steps:

1. Right Click on My Computer.

2. Choose Properties.

3. Click on the advanced tab.

4. In the performance field click settings.

5. In the performance options window click the advanced tab.

6. In the virtual memory field click change.

7. For drive letter C change the virtual memory settings to min 4000MB and max to 4000MB.

8. Click set.

9. Click OK.

10. You should reboot after doing this if you’re not prompted to do so.

11. Go to my computer and find the CD ROM Drive. Right click on the drive and choose explore. Find the Setup Icon for JIB (Looks like a brain).

12. Right click on the setup icon and choose Properties.

13. In the Properties window click the compatibility tab.

14. In the Properties choose WIN 95 and 640x480 screen resolution.

15. Click apply then OK. At this point the user should be able to double click on the setup icon and load the software.

16. After Setup finishes loading the software, a JIB icon should appear on the desk top. Double click the icon and the game should play.

17. If the game still doesn’t play, right click on the JIB icon, and choose Properties.

18. In the Properties window click the compatibility tab.

19. In the Properties choose WIN 95.
