Think Like a Kid |
Our 4-6 year old child advisors love Legos so I bought a box for our office. Maybe playing with them would awaken the child in us.
At first I couldn’t get the guys away from their computers, so I tired to open the box. I couldn’t figure out how to get the cover off … not a good start.
Sanjeev easily figured that out. Never having played with Legos as a child I didn’t know what to do with the 400 plus tiny pieces, but when Andreas, Kelly and Sanjeev decided to play, they knew just what to do: look at the examples in the book and build little Lego cars and buildings. Before long they were zoom zoom zooming their miniature creations around the room. Hmm ... I guess I don’t have a Legos brain. |

Giving the Brain a Technology Break |
Every year, the Morphonix team goes away to the ocean for a few days to design our games. Changing our routine and surroundings helps jumpstart our creativity.
We leave our computers at the office, go to a place without internet or cell phone reception, and give the logical, rational parts of our brains a rest. We have more of those aha moments when we slow down and have time to notice the big picture.
Watch our monthly video podcasts to see the creative process at work while Morphonix develops our latest video game, "Every Body Has a Brain" for children ages 4-6.
For close to 20 years, Morphonix has been producing video games that make abstract concepts of brain science fun and comprehensible to children. |
